Mary Lee Simon, 91, was born February 25, 1932 in Ville Platte, Louisiana to the late Clemon and Amelia Guillory.  She was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church of Lake Charles, LA. She was a loving wife, mother, care giver to her family, and a seamstress by profession.

On Sunday, March 19, 2023 at 3:10 p.m., God wrapped his loving arms around Mary and relieved her from her suffering.

Romans 8:18 - For I reckon that the sufferings of tis present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

Leaving to cherish her memory two daughters, Mary Jones and Barbara Frank, both of Lake Charles, LA; two sons, Joe Nathan (Rhonda) Simon of Dallas, TX. and Dennis (Mellonie) Simon of Katy, TX;  a special niece, Jackie Guillory; 13 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Special thanks to Terry Simon and a very special thanks to Wilda Goodley for all her love, care, and support.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Simon; her parents, Amelia and Clemon Guillory; one son, Joseph Simon, Jr.; one daughter, Debra Perron and six brothers, James, Kelvin, Melvin, Clarence, Melburn, and Paul Guillory.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 28, 2023, at 9:00 a.m., at King's Funeral Home and funeral service at 11:30 a.m., at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church.  Entombment will follow in Sacred Heart Mausoleum under the direction of King's Funeral Home.
