Mary Ella Villery , 66, departed this life on Friday, May 24, 2024, in Calcasieu Community Care Center in Lake Charles, LA.  She was born May 29, 1957, to John Edward Villery and Regina Jones Villery in Lake Charles, LA.  She was a sales clerk at Sears & Roebuck for many years and worked in clerical with the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office for 33 years until her retirement.  She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and was a 1975 graduate of Lake Charles High School. She was a homebody who loved to read and watch television.

She leaves to cherish her memories two sisters, Linda V. Thomas of Lake Charles, LA and Ruth Ignont of Sacramento, CA; one brother, John Villery of Lake Charles, LA and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Regina Villery; her ex-husband, Alvin Joe Williams and her brother-in-law, Shelley Thomas.

She will be missed by everyone especially her sister, Linda Thomas, who cared for her for eight years during her illness.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 6, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Mausoleum under the direction of King's Funeral Home.
