Maudry Mae Green , 78, departed this life on Tuesday, October 3, 2023, in Housto, TX.  She was born October 7, 1944, to Sherman & Felicia Francis in Ridge, LA.  She received her formal education from Katie B. Thomas High School in Elton, LA.  She lived her adult years in Lake Charles.   Maudry accepted Christ as her personal Savior in 1992.  She attended New Faith Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverand Lawrence Miller and Reverend Earl Miller.   After retiring, she moved to Deer Park, TX and attended Act Community Church with Pastor Billy Bernhard.

Maudry worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for over 40 years.  She was employed by Holly Hill Nursing Home and later Landmark of Lake Charles during that time period.  In her leisure, she enjoyed family gatherings, playing cards, going to lunch and the Senior Center with her friends, and cooking with everyone.

She leaves to cherish her memories her children, Eddie Francis Sr. (Angel), Valerie Jardouin (Cornelius), Felicia Stewart (Tim) and Albert Green (Jackie); her loving siblings, Hubert (Pat), Widley (Kayanna), Eunice Brown and Bertha Francis; sisters-in- law, Yvonne Francis, Dorothy Francis, and Linda Francis; her grandchildren, Eddie Francis Jr. (Michelle),  Victoria Duffy (Frederick), Cierra Jardouin, Deja Hamilton (Ron), Rayna Robinson,  Cedric Jardouin (Kayla), Chelsea  Jardouin-Mikens (Jared), Albert Green Jr (Abie), Matthew LaRose, Joshua Thomas (Danielle), Jeremiah Cummings, and Shauntel Minor; her great grandchildren, Frederick Jr, Amani, Dayln,  Kendrick, Harmony, Laylina, Kaleb, Joshua, Jaryn, Aubree, Micah, Trae, Jared Jr, Adrianna, Charlie, Ariah,  Aliya, Jarden,  Adrianna, Theodore, Chloe, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Sherman and Felicia Francis; her husband, Louis Charles Green; two sisters, Gertie Francis and Lydia Guillory; four brothers, Leo Francis, Mayo Francis, Sidney Francis, and Sherman Francis Jr., and her son, Mayo Green.
