Mercedes Renee' Guillory , "Sadie" 28 departed this life on Thursday, July 27, 2023, in Lake Charles, La. She was born January 27, 1995, to Shantel Guillory in Lake Charles, La. She was a resident of Sulphur, La for many years.

Mercedes had many hobbies that she loved. She was a member of House of Prayer in Westlake, La where she truly enjoyed attending service. She enjoyed swinging outside, listening to Christian music and attending musicals. She truly enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She had such an infectious smile and laugher that brought so much joy and happiness to everyone around her.

She leaves to cherish her memories her mother, Shantel Guillory (Kenneth Arvie);  maternal grandmother, Madlyn Freeman; one sister, Leslie Tanner and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who loved her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Larry James Singleton and two uncles, Wilson Tee Freeman and Eric Freeman.
