Michael Wayne Adams, 60, affectionately known as "Buggs", departed this life on Saturday, April 10, 2021, in New Orleans, LA.  He was born October 17, 1960,  to Clarence Buggs and Vietta McBride in Lake Charles, LA. He worked at the Port of Lake Charles as an International Longshoreman, Local 2047, since 1970 until his retirement in 2017.  He enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Francine Adams; seven sons, Shannon Bertrand, Michael Bertrand, Reginal Richard, Nicholas Richard, Irvin Green, Jason Galentine, and Jonathan Galentine; two daughters, Kisha Green and Loleta Galentine; one brother, Billy Rogers (Marvin Ann); three sisters, Wanda Washington (Darrell), Valerie Roy (Donald) and Michelle Buggs; nephew, Keithon Herring (Denise), 47 grandchildren, five great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Buggs and Vietta McBride Gordon and one son, Fredrick Brown.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 17, 2021, at 1:00 p.m., and funeral service at 3:00 p.m., at King's Funeral Home.
