On the 6th day of March 2022, our darling, Mila, departed this life while asleep. She was born on November 30, 2021, to Amber Atia-Marie Collins-Thibodeaux and Mark Wayne Thibodeaux. She brought joy and love wherever she went, uniting people with her presence.

She leaves to mourn and cherish her memories her parents, Mark and Amber Thibodeaux; siblings, Maqai Beasley, Zerron Bradley and Amar Thibodeaux; aunts, Flori (Reginald) Jenkins, Kaitlin (Adam Agnew) Sarkodie, Culric (Stacy) Jackson, Ambrenae Melanson, Royail Jefferson, and Catrease Thibodeaux; uncles, Desmond (Kayla) Bellard, Jamar (Juanisha) Finley, Keadrian Finley, Royce Thibodeaux, Armstead Melanson, and Ahmad Melanson; Grandparents, Carl Ray Finley, Shannon Nelson, Roy Thibodeaux and Sabrina Melanson; Godparents, Harry James Johnson, Gloria White-Vallere, Sharod and Jazlynn Guillory. She also leaves a host of other family, friends and community that loved her.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Paula Collins-Kinen; uncles, Antonio Finley and Derek Nash; aunt, Alice Melanson; great grandmothers, Helen Collins and Mary Friday.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2022, at 1:00 p.m., and funeral service at 2:00 p.m., at King's Funeral Home.  Family requests all guests to wear pink in honor of Mila.
