Mildred Goodwin LeDay , 75, departed this life on Friday, March 31, 2017, in Lake Charles, LA. She was born on April 11, 1941, to the late Willis, Sr. and Evia Goodwin in Church Point, LA. She worked at Woodard Investments until her retirement. She was a lifelong member of Immaculate Heart Catholic Church.

She leaves to cherish her memories her children, Patricia Goodwin of Colorado Springs, CO, Sandra (Stephen) Satcher, Tracie (Anthony Sr.) Pullard, Larry LeDay, Edgar (Barbara) LeDay, Jean (Calvin) Fuselier, all of Lake Charles, LA and Shirley Ledet of Houston, TX; her siblings, Sylvia Garrick, Norma Newsome, Paul (Agnes) Goodwin, Clara Goodwin, Thomas Goodwin and Willis (Katherine) Goodwin, Jr., all of Lake Charles, LA; 18 grandchildren, and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Willis, Sr. and Evia Goodwin; siblings, Carlton Goodwin, Mary Goodwin, and Leanne (Anthony) Larden; four children, Daryl, Patrick, Linda and Michael and one grandson, Ryan.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 7, 2017, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m., at King's Funeral Home with a Rosary at 8:00 p.m., and funeral service on Saturday, April 8, 2017, at 11:00 a.m., at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, with a second visitation at King's Funeral Home from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery under the direction of King's Funeral Home.
