Millard Collins was born April 29, 1930, in Jonesville, Louisiana to the late Anthony (May) and Lena Everett Collins.
A native of Jonesville, he resided in Lake Charles most of his life where he was a United States Army Veteran and a retiree from the Carpenter's Local Union #953.
He leaves to cherish his companion, Mildred Nickerson Kane of Lake Charles, sons Carl Collins and Jerald Glenn Nickerson both of Lake Charles, Randy Collins of Houston, Texas, and Millard "Mickey" Collins of New Orleans; daughters, Linda Wilkins, Tonetta Nickerson, Auddie Woodard, Kandy Marks, Bertha Collins, and Penny Collins all of Lake Charles, Angela Manuel of Humble, Texas, Lena Simon and Levella Marie Lartigue both of Fayetteville, Arkansas, and Martha Watner of Jonesville, Louisiana; stepson Sidney Kane, Jr. of Chandler, Arizona; stepdaughters, Debra Armstrong and Jane Kane both of Lake Charles, one sister Lottie Mae Ceasar of Jones; sixty grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and a host of nieces nephews, other relatives and friends.
