Mitchell Jones , 86, departed this life on Saturday, October 6, 2018, at a local nursing home in Lake Charles, LA. He was born September 26, 1932, to Henry Jones, Sr. and Eva Lewis Jones in Iowa, LA. He worked in a steel yard until his retirement.

He leaves to cherish his memories, four nephews, Wade Richard (Delorcy), Marvin Jones, Sr. (Wanda), Ray Jones, Jr. (Stacy), and Ralph Jones (Anita) and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Eva Jones and four brothers, Bobby Jones, Abrown Richard, Rayfield Jones and Henry Jones, Jr.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 11, 2018, at 9:00 a.m., and funeral service at 11:00 a.m., at King's Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Botley Cemetery in Kinder, LA under the direction of King's Funeral Home.
