Murry Anthony Francois, Sr., 64, departed this life on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at Harbor Hospice in Lake Charles, LA.  He was born October 22, 1960, to Lionel Joseph Francois, Sr., and Norma Goodwin in Houston, TX.  He worked at Tuboscope until his retirement.  He loved working on cars and visiting with family and friends.

He leaves to cherish his memories his mother, Norma Goodwin of Houston, TX; three children, Murry Francois, Jr. (Frances), Myron Francois and Shacaydra Francois-Hill (Nolan) all of Houston, TX; his siblings, Glenda Hayes (Eric), Lionel Lewis both of Houston, TX and Carlton Newsome of California; mother of his children, Ingrid Francois; former wife, Minerva Francois; seven grandchildren, Cyar Francois, Chasen Francois, Cagnei Francois, Codric Francois, Calei Francois, Shalaydra Hill and Shalondra Hill and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lionel Francois, Sr., one brother, Lionel Francois, Jr., and one nephew, William Darrnett.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 31, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., and funeral service at 12:00 p.m., at King's Funeral Home.
