Odelia Gallien , 84, departed this life on Tuesday, December 12, 2017, at her residence in Lake Charles, LA. She was born on September 28, 1933, to Frank and Leila Guidry Garrick in Church Point, LA. She loved joking with her family and friends. She also enjoyed playing cards and going to bingo. She was a member of Immaculate of Mary Catholic Church.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her children, John (Mary) Gallien of Lake Charles, LA, Laquetta "Plum" Leech of Northern CA, Carol "Sue" Brooks of Lake Charles, LA, Equilla "Pam" Gallien of Northern, CA, Letitia (Derrick) Smith and Brandy Gallien both of Lake Charles, LA; her siblings, Paul (Dorothy) Garrick of Houston, TX, Orelia Hall, Enola (John) Henry, Evella Bellard, Corena (Harry) August, Leona (Russell) Benoit, Barbara Drake, Lela Johnson, Early Garrick and Vera Collins all of Lake Charles, LA; 18 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Leila Garrick; her husband, John C. Gallien; two daughters, Shirley and Beverly Gallien; one grandson, Ivory "BJ" Brooks, III; one sister, Octavia Henry; four brothers, Eddison, Stephen, John and Robert Garrick and one son-in-law, Matthew Leech.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 21, 2017, at 8:00 a.m., at King's Funeral Home with a Rosary at 10:00 a.m., and funeral service at 12:00 p.m., at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetary under the direction of King's Funeral Home.
