Obituary

Ophelia Marie Caesar, known affectionately as Tinye, a name that carried the essence
of her gentle spirit, was a beacon of love, strength, and grace, whose earthly journey
came to a close on January 16, 2026. Born on a spring day, on April 11, 1949, to proud
parents Batiron and Ida Mae Victorian, she was destined to bring light and love to all
she touched.

Tinye, a proud graduate of Grand Avenue High School, embarked on a life journey filled
with love, passion, and creativity. Tinye's journey was one of love and nurturing, woven
with threads of compassion and grace. With her beloved husband Alfred by her side,
they raised three beautiful daughters - Bridgette, Lydia, and Victoria. Tinye's talents
knew no bounds; she stitched dreams into reality, creating dance costumes and prom
dresses that adorned her daughters with love.

Crafting was her sanctuary, a space where her creativity blossomed, manifesting in a
shoe collection that whispered tales of elegance and style. Her kitchen was a haven of
warmth and comfort; the aroma of her cooking and baking embraced all who entered,
leaving no soul hungry, and no heart untouched.

But her love extended far beyond the walls of her home. Tinye became a beacon of light
for countless children, nurturing and caring for them as if they were her own. Her love
language was one of raising kids, instilling values of kindness and compassion in every
heart she touched.

As a Nana to her grandsons Lorenzo and Collin, she found joy in a new chapter of
love and legacy. Whether volunteering at school or spending cherished moments with
her family, Tinye's presence radiated warmth and kindness, leaving an indelible mark on
all who crossed her path.

In the arms of her beloved Alfred, Tinye found solace and companionship, a love that
transcended time and space. As she embarks on her next journey, she leaves behind a
legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering strength.

Though she may have bid farewell to this world, her spirit lives on in the hearts of her
daughters Lydia and Victoria, her grandsons Lorenzo and Collin, her brothers Donald
Ray Victorian (Countess) and Charles Ray Victorian (Irene), and a host of nieces,
nephews, godchildren, and the many children she held dear.

She is preceded in death by her husband Alfred Caesar; her daughter Bridgette Caesar, and sister; Ellen Dora Dixon,
parents Batiron Vic and Ida Mae Guillory Victorian; maternal grandparents, Ophelia
Pete and Angelo Guillory; paternal grandparents, LaDora and Victor Victorian.

As we mourn the loss of a remarkable woman, let us celebrate her life, her laughter, and
the love that continues to guide us. Rest in peace, dearest Tinye, your legacy of love will
forever shine bright in our hearts.

A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday beginning at 8am for Visitation at King's Funeral Home.
