Pamela Green Mitchell, departed this life on Monday, March 2, 2020, at the age of 51 in a local hospital in Lake Charles, LA. She was born November 2, 1968, to the late Alvin Green and Mary Lou Swain in Lake Charles, LA.

She graduated from Washington Marion High School and McNeese State University where she obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Education. She worked over 20 years as an Educator; the last seven years at Lake Charles Charter Academy.  She loved her students, fellow staff and faculty.  She was a faithful member of Throne of Grace Fellowship under the leadership of Pastor Red.  She loved cooking, spending time with her family and singing in the choir.

She leaves to mourn her memory, her loving husband of 30 years, Terrell Mitchell; three sons, Matthew (Jennifer) Mitchell of San Antonio, TX, Jamison Mitchell and Trevin Mitchell, both of Lake Charles, LA; She also had a bonus son, Ian Rigmaiden, whom she absolutely adored; her doting mother-in-law, Elizabeth Cezair; six sisters, Priscilla Green, Jackie Green, Cesely (Mark) Rigmaiden, all of Lake Charles, Charlotte (Derrick, Sr.) Williams of New Orleans, LA, Trakessa Green and Stephanie Green, both of Atlanta, GA; three brothers, Raymond (Jillian) Jackson, Carl Jackson, both of Lake Charles, LA and Darrell Moss of Atlanta, GA; four grandchildren, Amariah, Jeremiah, Treasure and Jayce; one aunt, Mary Ann and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin Green and Mary Lou Swain; paternal grandparents, Ross and Mattie Green, Sr.; maternal grandparents, Joseph and Mary Redmond, Sr.; one sister, Rose Moss and one great niece, Dyani Green.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2020, at 9:00 a.m., and funeral service at 11:00 a.m., at Throne of Grace Fellowship, Dr. Wilton Red, officiating. Burial will follow in Combre Memorial Park under the direction of King's Funeral Home.
