IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Patricia Ann
Jackson
August 11, 1949 – August 30, 2017
Patricia Ann Jackson was born on August 11, 1949, the baby girl of Mel and Annie Bowman. She departed this life on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at the age of 68, at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital.
Patricia graduated from W.O. Boston High School. After High School she married Lloyd Reney, Sr., and had three kids together. After being widowed, she later married Riley Jackson and had two more children. She and Riley were together for 39 years, and married 24 years before God called him home.
Patricia was a very loving and outspoken woman. She loved her family and friends. She loved spending time with them playing dominoes, dancing, and just hanging out. She was a hardworking woman who took care of her children. Patricia will be remembered as a good mother, sister, grandmother, niece, aunt, cousin, mother-in-law and friend. She spent her last years at Resthaven Nursing Facility where they made her feel at home and treated her like family. Our family will not be the same without her. Her memories will forever remain with us and she will forever be with us in our hearts.
She leaves to cherish her memories her five children, Ashley (Jonathan) Walker, Yolanda Reney, Tiffany Bowman, Lloyd Reney, Jr (Felix), and Darrell (Sabrina) Reney (Redbone), all of Lake Charles, Louisiana. She is also survived by her four grandchildren, Megan Franklin, Jayden Walker, Javori Walker, and Jonas Walker; three great grandchildren, Jordyn Franklin, Landon Franklin, and Dariana Taylor. Two sisters, Mel Ann Johnson and Dorothy Devillier of San Antonio, Texas; one brother, Raymond Bowman of New Iberia, Louisiana; Aunts, Geraldine (Elbert) Reed of Lake Charles, LA, Myrtle Jean Bowman, Lotti Coleman, and one Uncle, Maxie Bowman, all of California, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends
She was preceded in death by her husband, Riley Jackson; son, Brian McNeal; mother, Annie Bowman and father, Mel Bowman.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2017, at 10:00 a.m., and funeral service at 12:00 p.m., at King's Funeral Home, Dr. Geraldine Reed, officiating. Burial will be in Orange Grove Cemetery under the direction of King's Funeral Home.
