Patrick Paul Prince received his wings on April 17, 2017, at the age of 44, in Lake Charles Memorial Hospital in Lake Charles, LA, with his family and close friends by his side.  Pat was born March 17, 1973, in Lake Charles, LA to Mr. Moses Coleman Prince Sr., and the late Mrs. Velma Jean (Thomas) Prince.  He was a business owner and barber of Freshcuts Barber & Beauty Shop in Lake Charles, LA.  In his spare time he enjoyed bowling, carpentry work, sports and hunting, but most importantly spending time with his family.

Pat leaves to mourn his father, Mr. Moses Coleman Prince Sr.; spouse, Shalanda Richard-Prince; two sons, Diondre' DeMarcus Prince and  DeMarion Carmello Prince; his siblings, Thelma (Alonzo) Forrest, Jessie (Michelle) Prince, Moses (Danisha) Prince, Ronald (Daisy) Prince;  his father and mother-in-law, Charles and Loretta Richard; sisters-in-law, Shonda Richard (Godwin) Henderson, Quatina (Terrell) Alfred, Shendrika Richard, Charlissia (Christopher) Richard all of Lake Charles, LA, Crystal (Robin) Carter of Hill AFB, Utah, and his God-daughter, Reanna Carter of Lake Charles, LA, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Velma Jean Prince.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2017, at 10:00 a.m., and funeral service at 2:00 p.m., at King's Funeral Home in Lake Charles, LA.
