Patsy Ruth Reeder, 66, departed this life on Monday, December 13, 2021, at her residence in Lake Charles, LA.  She was born September 29, 1955, to Willis Reeder and Gladys Smith Reeder in Lake Charles, LA.

She worked for the City of Lake Charles as a Parks and Recreations manager for 27 years and retired in 2017.  She was a graduate of Lake Charles High School and was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church.  She later attended Starlight Baptist Church.  She loved sewing, cooking, playing with her grandson and visiting with family and friends.  She was an avid gardener and always had beautiful flowers in her yard.

She leaves to cherish her memories, one daughter, Latashia Reeder of Lake Charles, LA; one son, Jonathan Reeder of Baytown, TX; one grandson, Zavier Alexsander Rubit and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Willis and Gladys Reeder.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 23, 2021, at 9:00 a.m., and funeral service at 11:00 a.m., at King's Funeral Home.
