Paul Percy Malbrough , 73, departed this life on Friday, January 1, 2021, at Christus St. Patrick Hospital in Lake Charles, LA. He was born on August 12, 1947, to Rudolph Malbrough and Edna Colligan in Church Point, LA. He was a self-employed contractor and owner of Malbrough Construction Company, Inc., for many years. He served his country in the United States Army with a honorable discharge receiving the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal and Sharpshooter (Rifle).
He leaves to cherish his memories his children, Paula M. Edmonson (Leon) and Paul Le'Quinn Malbrough both of Lake Charles, LA; siblings, Theresa Price (John), Veronica Cluse (Amos), Lois Johnwell (Rayfield), Felton Malbrough (Liz), Grace Espirit (Rufus) and John Arthur Malbrough; five grandchildren, DeVionte' Edmonson, Nikima Malbrough, DeJona' E. Jackson (Josiah I), Tichina Malbrough and Justin Malbrough; nine great grandchildren, Bre'den Bertrand, Shamyiah Morris, Benaiah Bertrand, Maci Taylor, Jhy Jackson, Josiah Jackson II, Noelle Bertrand, Dylan Edwards, Jonai Jackson, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Rudolph and Edna Malbrough, five brothers, Joseph, Albert, Adam, Joseph Mervin and Rudolph Malbrough and two sisters, Mary Lee Guillory and Eva Soileau Pappillion.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2021, at 12:00 p.m., and funeral service at 2:00 p.m., at King's Funeral Home.
