On Wednesday, the 24th day of May, 2023, Peggy Alzenia Sturlese, "Decy" departed this life at the age of 64 at home with her son. She was born April 25, 1959, to Steve Surlese, II and Pauline Jones Sturlese in Orange, TX.  She was a full time caregiver for many years.  She loved spending time with her grandchildren and taking care of her family.

She leaves to cherish her fiance' Vincente Guevara of Lake Charles, LA; son, Frankie George of Lake Charles, LA; four sisters, Dorothy Sturlese of Orange, TX, Bertha Sturlese, Janice Sturlese and Rhonda Sturlese all of Lake Charles, LA; five grandchildren, Vergillian Rosette, Reginald Julien, Elijah Julien, Janiya George and Jahzara George and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Steve Sturlese, II and Pauline Jones Sturlese; two sisters, Vicki Turner and Daphne Sturlese and one brother, Steve Sturlese, III.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2023, at 1:00 p.m., and funeral service at 3:00 p.m., at King's Funeral Home.
