On July 18, 1970, Percy Lee Levias was born to the late Ethel Mae Levias & Freddie Lee Gosey in Bon Wier, Tx. Most of his life he resided in Newton County Texas, where he attended school and played football for the Newton Eagles in 1984. Percy enjoyed spending his days in Texas with his family.
At the age of 17, Percy moved to Starks, Louisiana to be with his father. Over the next few years, he would go back and forth from Louisiana to Texas. Percy met Emma LeBoeuf in Texas, and they married making her Emma Levias.
Over the years, Percy enjoyed doing pulpwood logging with his dad and many others. In June of 2000, Percy decided to work offshore for at least 3 years. Mister Percy could operate any machinery that crossed his path. Later he began to haul junk iron and scrap metal with his father and many others.
Percy Levias departed this life on October 20,2021 at 3:08AM.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his loving wife of 33 years, Emma Levias; two stepsons, Bradley LeBoeuf (Stephanie Spellman) and Brandon LeBoeuf (Ashley Griffin); five daughters, LaTonya (Roderick) Hawkins, Kiara Levias (Brandon Shelton), Jazzilyn (Jonas) Gallow, Christine Levias (Randy Johnson) and Ieisha Levias; grandchildren, Jaheim and A'Niyah Levias, Brayden Johnson, Nevaeh and Ka'Lani Gallow, Brandon Jr, Symone Hawkins, Synclair Hawkins, Kiana Hawkins and Kyla Bibbs; sisters, Carrie Levias, Mary Durgan, Cheronda (Clifford) Howard, Tabetha Budwine and Benita Budwine; brothers, James (Elma) Weaver, Freddie (Twania) Budwine, Robert (Ola) Budwine and Lee Ronald Budwine, his stepmother Ruby Gosey Budwine, godchild Alexionna Budwine, and his two favorite cousins Albert and Elmer Hopkins. He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.
Funeral services will be held on November 6, 2021 at 11am in Morning Star Baptist Church in Vinton, Louisiana with Dr. Elijah Jasper officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the funeral beginning at 9am. Burial will be in Edgerly Cemetery under the direction of King's Funeral Home.
