Rawl Kenrick Brooks

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Rawl "Ken" Kenrick Brooks. Ken departed this earthly life to begin his journey home on Friday, August 14, 2026, at the age of 81. He was born on June 26, 1945, to Edris Althemise Brooks and Reginold Theophilus Brooks in Louis D'or, Tobago. 

Ken worked and retired from the Expro Group as a Wireline Supervisor. While not working, he enjoyed listening to music, reading, teaching, working on his truck, fixing things. He was an avid world traveler through his work life, and this continued through his retirement, with cruises being among his favorite vacation times.

He was preceded in death by his parents Reginold and Edris Brooks; brother, Dennis Brooks; and sister Pearl Cupid.

Ken leaves to cherish his memories his wife Margaret Thibodeaux Brooks; children, Natasha Young-Campbell, Sven Alexander Brooks, and Angelle (Bo) Thompson; siblings Patricia (Withfield) Weeks of Trinidad, Eric (Beverly) Brooks of Trinidad, Selwyn (Esther) Brooks of Trinidad, Louise Brooks of Boca Raton, Florida, and Phyllis Brooks of Trinidad; grandchildren, Tyler Young, Tamara Young-Lott, Antende (AJ) Campbell, Aiden Maverick Thompson; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. 

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 22, at 9:00am-11:00am, with celebration of life at 11:00am. All services will be held at King's Funeral Home.
