Mr. Raymond "T-Boy" King was born March 22, 1940 to Samuel and Julia Linton King in Jeanerette Louisiana.
He attended Washington Schools in Washington, Louisiana.
He was baptized at an early age where he attended Holy Trinity Catholic Church, and moved to Lake Charles, Louisiana where he lived most of his life, and attended Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church.
Raymond worked for many years for Water Resources Deep Well Company.
His biggest accomplishment was when he was able to become an entrepreneur in 1979. His business J & R Trucking was his biggest joy where he was able to travel cross country.
He was owner and operator for Enterprise Transportation. He worked there until he became ill in September, and had to stop working.
Raymond was preceded in death by his parents Samuel and Julia Linton King and a brother, Dalton King.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of forty-four years, Pearl Thierry King; three sons, Charles (Kim) King and Brent (Reynauda) King of Lake Charles, La., and Shawn (Talaya) King of Mansfield, Tx., two daughters, Robin (Earl) Williams of Arlington, tx. and Julie (Michael) Deville of Lake Charles, La., two brothers Willie s. King Sr. of Lake Charles, La., Richard James King of Carson City, Ca.; eight sisters, Annie Bell Critian and Verna Mae Antoine of Port Author, Tx. Ruby Robinson and Florita Wolf of Beaumont, Tx., Patsy Self of Baton Rouge, La, Joyce Thomas and Lela valentine of Lake Charles, La; fourteen grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He had three special nephews, Willie Samuel King, Jr., Bobby Thierry Campbell and Michael L. Thierry, and godchild Larry J. King. A special brother-in-law Dewy Lewis and a special sister-in-law, Marceline Lewis.
