Regina Bu rks, 48, was born on February 19, 1968, in Lake Charles Louisiana to the late Lawrence and Sylvia Williams. She was a lifelong member of Unity Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Dr. A.B. Lartigue Sr.

Regina was united in marriage to James Lee Burks, Jr., on February 17, 1998 and together they shared 10 children.

She leaves to cherish her memories five sons, Torrance (Nia) of TN, James III, Lawrence (Keandra), Lorenzo and Leherbert; five daughters, Jamesa, Antrinetta, Karol (Marquise), Lorraine and Danielle; two sisters, Margaret (Joseph), Phyllis; three brothers, Willie, Harold (Leslie) and Phillip (Leeose) all of LA; 18 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Regina was preceded in death by her parents Lawrence and Sylvia Williams.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2016, at 9:00 a.m. and funeral service at 11:00 a.m., at Unity Baptist Church under the direction of King's Funeral Home.
