Richella Theresa Sherman, 56, departed this life on Monday, April 25, 2022, at her residence in Lake Charles, LA.  She was born November 1, 1965, to Andrew Pete Sherman, Sr., and Dorothy Marie Lively Sherman in New Orleans, LA.  She worked at Walmart, the automotive department store and was assistant manager at Burger King for over ten years.  She loved visiting with her family, helping people and watching her boys play sports.

She leaves to cherish her memories her children, Troy A. Sherman (Rebekah) of Houston, TX, Lavell H. Sherman of Lake Charles, LA, Steve Sherman (Shaleshea) of Norfolk, VA and Terry Sherman of Lake Charles, LA; one grandchild, Rielei Tion Sherman and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Dorothy Sherman; one sister, Jerry lively Brooks and two brothers, Andrew Sherman, Jr., and Harry Sherman.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 5, 2022, at 9:00 a.m., and funeral service at 11:00 a.m., at Livingway Pentecostal Church.  Burial is scheduled for Friday, May 6, 2022, at 10:00 a.m., at Resthaven Memorial Park, 10400 Old Gentilly Road, New Orleans, LA, under the direction of King's Funeral Home.
