Rita Geraldine Butler , 72, departed this life on Friday, September 2, 2016, at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital in Lake Charles, LA.  She was born June 21, 1944, to the late Billy and Beulah Harrison in Jennings, LA.  She was the fourth child of eleven children.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2016, at at 9:00 a.m., and funeral service at 11:00 a.m., at Church of Lake Charles, Pastor Frederick LaFleur, officiating. Burial will be in Combre Memorial Park under the direction of King's Funeral Home.
