Robert Leo Williams was born on August 13, 1952, in Sulphur, La., to Richard Leo Williams and Lois Ann Escloven. He departed his blessed earthly life on March 25, 2015. Minister Robert Williams had a passion for teaching the Word of God. He wore many hats in serving his ministry since 2003, as a founder. He also studied to show himself approved by God. Minister Williams was one of Word of Faith Outreach first Deacon. He also served as chairman of the Deacon Board, Sunday School Teacher, Exaltation Ministry, Mass Choir Member, Finance Chairman, and his Bishop's Personal Assistant in Ministry. Minister Williams also served as a Sergeant in the Air Force, located in Lackland Air Force Base in 1973 and Edwards Air Force Base from 1972-1974. Minister Williams had a long and treasured career with Northrop Grumman for 20 years as an Aviation Tech in Lake Charles, La. For now I leave behind to cherish memories of me, my wonderful wife, of 15 years, Lorita Celestine Williams of Lake Charles, La; two daughters, Shemeka (Roosevelt) Franklin of Baton Rouge, La., and Nikima (Tyrone) Bartie of Lake Charles, La; two sons, George (Joann) Leday of Spring, Texas and Christian Jones of Sulphur, La; one stepdaughter, Evelyn Jean (James Edward) Turner of Lake Charles, La; one stepson, Joshua Lee Fiske of Atlanta, Ga., two sisters, Janie (Jake) Robertson, and Fedra Williams of Sulphur, La; one brother, Rodney (Butch) Williams of Sulphur, La; eight grandchildren, three step grandchildren and two great grandchildren; Word of Faith Outreach Church family, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Minister Williams was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Lois Williams, two brothers, Donald and Doug Williams and one son, Mark Braxton.
