Ronald Hilbert Jones, 71, departed this life on Tuesday, May 28, 2019, at a local nursing home in Rosepine, LA. He was born November 18, 1947, to Casey Jones and Willie Mae Hilbert Jones in Lake Charles, LA.  He was a 1965 graduate of W. O. Boston High School, attended Southern University and served his country in the United States Army.  He loved playing tennis, listening to music and visiting with family and friends.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his children, Rhonda Marlene Jones and Ronald Jones, both of Washington, D.C.; his siblings, Curtis Jones of Little Rock, AK and Marlene Jones of Lake Charles, LA and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Casey and Willie Mae Jones; three brothers, George, Casey and Willie Jones and one sister, Lora Buchanan.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 30, 2019, at 9:00 a.m., and funeral service at 11:00 a.m., at King's Funeral Home.
