Rose Marie Thierry Brown, 62, of Lake Charles, LA, died on Wednesday, December 9, 2009 in a local hospital.

Mrs. Brown was born August 16, 1947 in Kinder, LA and has lived in Mossville and Lake Charles for over forty years. Mrs. Brown met the love of her life whom she shared 47 years. God bless her with four children her Pride and Joy Pastor Clarence Brown Jr, Apple of her Eye Donald Ray Brown Sr., her little angel, the late Marvin Dean  Brown and her Diamond and Pearl, Tammy Teresa Brown Thibodeaux She worked at home being a Domesticated Goddess, Fashionista, and a  Fulltime Grandmother. She will always be remembered for her lively personality and her loving and kind ways. She loved her family dearly and enjoyed shopping, cooking and playing softball. Mrs. Brown loved fashion and was always dressed perfectly. She had a love of Fine Jewelry and J. Renee Shoes. She could often be found at Joseph's Shoe Store, The Fashion, Ms. Kay's, John & Jereese or Dillard's Department Store. She was a member of Holland Missionary Baptist Church, under the leadership of Pastor Clarence Brown Jr. where she served as lead deaconess, choir member and president of the pastor aide. She will truly be missed by all who loved and adored her.

Mrs. Brown is survived by her husband, Clarence Brown Sr. children, Clarence Brown Jr. (Jane) of Beaumont, TX, Donald Ray Brown Sr. (Tyrella) of Westlake, and Tammy Teresa Brown Thibodeaux (James "J.R.") of Lake Charles; siblings, Gilbert Cole (Catherine) of Kinder, LA, Dorothy Perry (Robert) of Detroit, MI, Dessie Thierry, Gloria Thierry of Lake Charles, LA, and Donald Brown Jr. of Lake Charles, her 12 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Ruth Thierry; siblings, Wilbert, Robert, Richard, Samuel, and Shirley Thierry.

Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 12, 2009 at Miracle Deliverance Holiness Church in Sulphur. Pastor Clarence Brown Jr. will officiate. Burial will follow in Lorraine Cemetery in Lacassine, LA. Visitation will be at Miracle Deliverance Holiness Church on Saturday December 12, 2009 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
