Ruby LeDay , 86, departed this life on Wednesday, October 6, 2021, at Christus St. Patrick Hospital in Lake Charles, LA.  She was born October 4, 1935, to Frank Jones and Viola Mingo Jones in Plaisance, LA.  She loved fishing, watching family feud and Sanford & Son, cooking and visiting with family and friends.

She leaves to cherish her memories her children, Jimmy (Joann) Jones and Shirley LeDay both of Lake Charles, LA; one brother, Irvin Jones of New Orleans, LA; nine grandchildren, Yolanda LeDay, Anetrail Thomas, Angela Grace, Anthony Jones, Jennifer Miller, Bryan Jones, Latoya LeDay, Tiffany LeDay and Brittany Jones; 15 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Viola Jones; husband, Floyd LeDay; four sisters, Hazel Malveaux, Joyce Mott, Mary Jones and Mildred Williams; three brothers, Frank Jones, Roosevelt Jones and Mack Henry Jones and one son, Kenneth LeDay.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 16, 2021, at 9:00 a.m., and funeral service at 11:00 a.m., at King's Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in  Combre Memorial Park under the direction of King's Funeral Home.
