Obituary

Rudolph Malbrough Jr., 72, was born June 22, 1945, in Opelousas, LA, to the union of the late Rudolph Malbrough, Sr. and Edna Culligan. On June 16, 2018, at Tulane Medical Center in New Orleans, LA, he was called home. He feared no evil as he passed on to meet his family members, who awaited his arrival and reunion in the presence of his Savior, Jesus Christ, who gently led him away. Upon his eternal rest, he leaves to cherish his memories, his oldest daughter, Lisa Guillory and son-in-law, Patrick Guillory of Grand Lake, LA; his daughter, Marie Malbrough-Bennett and son-in-law, Troy Bennett of Lake Charles, LA; his son, Keith Malbrough of Lake Charles, LA; and his daughter, Whitney Miller of Iowa, LA; four sisters, Theresa (John) Price, Lois (Rayfield) Johnwell, Grace (Rufus) Espirit, and Veronica (Amos) Cluse; three brothers, Felton (Liz) Malbrough, John Arthur Malbrough, and Paul Malbrough; nine grandchildren, three great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Rudolph and Edna Malbrough; his brothers, Peter, Melvin, Albert, Adam, and Joseph; his sisters, Marylee and Eva Mae.

He shall be remembered for being an excellent fisherman, his love for playing his guitar, listening to blues and cheering for the black and gold, Who Dat!

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2018, at 8:30 a.m., at King's Funeral Home and funeral service at 11:00 a.m., at St. Henry Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery under the direction of King's Funeral Home.
