Russell Shane "Rugg" Guidry , 50, departed this life on Friday, December 15, 2017, at Christus St. Patrick Hospital. He was born on April 6, 1967, to Charlie Reeder and Mary B. Guidry in Ville Platte, LA. He worked for Southwest Coastal Construction Company. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

He leaves to cherish his memories three brothers, Terry Guidry of Detroit, MI, Ronald Wayne (Derricka) Guidry, his twin, Douglas Blane Guidry, both of Lake Charles, LA; four sisters, Cynthia Auzenne of Carencro, LA, Lynn (Aaron) Stevens, Tiwana Marie (Ronald) Gayden and Gloria King all of Lake Charles, LA; three uncles, Floyd Reeder, Roy Reeder, Jr., and Herman Guidry; six aunts, Mary Belle Reeder, Barbara Anderson, Nancy Pouchie, Conseula Thomas, Lucy Stevens and Stella Guidry; one godchild, Aaron Stevens, Jr., a special cousin, Kevin Reeder and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie Reeder and Mary Guidry and one brother, Tony Troy Guidry.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 28, 2017, at 12:00 p.m., at King's Funeral Home and funeral service at 2:00 p.m., at St. Henry Catholic Church, Father Jeffery Stockivich, officiating. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cementery under the direction of King's Funeral Home.
