Russell Edward Antoine, Sr., 82 departed this life on Sunday, April 18, 2021, at his residence in Lake Charles, LA.  He was born September 19, 1938, to Eugene Antoine, Sr., and Ella Goodly in Lake Charles, LA. He served his country in the United States Navy and worked at local industries.

He leaves to cherish his memories his children, Antoinette Antoine-Collins (Lorenzo), Russel Antoine, Jr., and Vanessa Francis (Luthan); siblings, Betty Daniel, Eugene Antoine, Jr., and Bernice Young; six grandchildren, DeVontae Lede, Dalaija Collins, Kenon Sapp, Julian Hobbs and Jared Hobbs and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Ella Antoine; his siblings, Vincent Antoine, Ambrose Antoine, Tony Antoine, Nathan Antoine, Idel Gordon, Francis Pete, Adine Antoine and Georgiana Antoine.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 5, 2021, at 9:00 a.m., and funeral service at 11:00 a.m., at King's Funeral Home.
