Samantha Lakeicia Johnson was born on August 17, 1991 to Veronica Cole Washington and Arold Washington. Samantha accepted Christ at an early age. She was attending Houston Community College. Samantha departed this earthly life on Monday, December 10, 2012. Her memories will be cherished by her husband, Harold Hightower, Jr. To this union one child was born, King Harold Hightower. She also leaves to cherish her memories her mother, Veronica Washington; father, Arold (Evette) Washington; five sisters, BryNell (William) Augustus, Arielle Washington, Alexis Washington, Brianna Hill and Tambra Bright; two brothers, Arold Washington, Jr., and Braylen Hill; grandmother, Elzena Cole; five aunts, Christina (Jeffery) Cole Miller, Angela (Gary) Ashley, Emma Guidry, Elizabeth Cox and Sylvia (John) Gallow; and six uncles, Gregory (Eva) Cole, Sr., Mark (Laura) Cole, Joseph Washington, Jr., Junius (Phyllis) Washington, Michael (Tracy) Washington, all of Lake Charles, Louisiana. Godparents, Sylvia Gallow and Charles Cox; two god sisters, Diamonds Ashley and Alexis Pickens; one god brother Anthony Pickens. Samantha was preceded in death by her grandparents, Antoine Cole, Joseph Washington and Eva Washington, one niece, Page Johnson, three aunts, Lucille Jones, Mary Lee Temple and Corrine Washington, and one uncle, George Washington, Sr. Visitation will be on Saturday, December 22, 2012 from 10:00AM to 12:00Noon at Starlight Baptist Church with funeral services following immediately. Pastor Julian Woods will officiate. Burial will be at Combre Memorial Park under the direction of King's Funeral Home.
