Samuel Keith Brooks died peacefully in his sleep Monday, November 8, 2021 in his residence in Lake Charles, Louisiana.

Keith was born September 18, 1958  to Clinton and Hilda Brooks in Galveston, Texas. He was married to Joetta Brooks. Along with his son James Courtney Fobbs, he also raised Jason Keyes as his own son. He worked at Calcasieu Parish Police Jury for ten years and FK White Middle School for ten years.

Keith was preceded in death by his parents Clinton and Hilda Brooks, wife Joetta Brooks, brothers Carl Brooks and Micheal Brooks, and sister Veronica Ronnie.

He lives to cherish his memories, his children James Courtney (Nonye) Fobbs, and Jason (Jessica) Keyes, a brother James "Bubba" Brooks, along with a host of grandchildren, several cousins, and many friends.

Cremation services has been entrusted to King's Funeral Home.
