Samuel Freeman, Sr, 65, passed away on Tuesday, August 7, 2012 in St. Patrick Hospital in Lake Charles, LA. Samuel was born on November 11, 1946 to the late Freddie and Olivia Roberts Freeman in Ville Platte, LA. He was married to the former Lou Ella Williams Freeman. He was preceded in death by his parents; Freddie and Olivia Freeman; one son; one grandson; Jeremie Freeman; two brothers; David Freeman and Russell Freeman. He is survived by his wife; Lou Ella Freeman; two sons; Samuel James (Phyllis) Freeman, Derrick Wade (Angela) Freeman all of Lake Charles, LA; two brothers; Leroy (Christine) Freeman of Ville Platte, LA, Micheal (Stacey) Freeman of Colorado Springs, CO; four sisters; Rosa Lee (Joseph) Toussaint of Jacksonville, FL, Cathy (Herman) Simon of Youngsville, LA, Mae Rita Richard, and Linda Marie (Eddie) Pitre all of Ville Platte, LA; six grandchildren; nephews; nieces; and a host of relatives and friends.
