On Friday, February 14, 2014 Sandra Gerane Louviere passed away at Christus St. Patrick's Hospital in Lake Charles, La. She was born on August 8, 1939 in Wapanucka, Ok to Clyde and Zelline Horton. She spent most of her childhood in Iowa, LA where she graduated from Iowa High School in 1957. Most of her adult life was in Iowa, Louisiana, and in her middle years she resided in Lake Charles, with some intervening years spent in Houston and Montgomery, Texas. She married Percy Louviere in 1959. They were later divorced, when she married John Copeland in 2005. She and John were divorced, when later she recently remarried her childhood sweetheart Percy in December of 2013. One of her greatest loves in life was interior decoration. Gerane lived her life as an interior decorator whether as a professional or in lending advice to friends. For many years she worked with furniture companies in the area, in particular her years at Lafitte Furniture were important to her. Concurrently, she also worked many years as a chemist at PPG. She is survived by her husband Percy Louivere; Jody (Melissa) Louviere, grandchild; Logan Louviere, brother-in law Greg Louviere and partner Brent Courville.
