Sha'Crista Nicole Jone s went to meet her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on September 29, 2011. She was born on September 30, 1989 to Harold and Linda (Garrick) Jones, Sr.

She was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. She attended Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic School, Blessed Katharine Drexel Catholic School, T. H. Watkins Elementary School, Reynaud Jr. High, Lake Charles-Boston High School and Sam Houston High School.

Sha'Crista loved life and she never met a stranger. She was a very compassionate and caring person. She was a very nice and sweet person who loved to take pictures; smile and make others smile. Sha'Crista loved to help others and was always helping family and friends with their children. If you ask Christee to help with most things, she would. As a child, she was always curious wanting to know how things work. She learned how to do things quickly. When the belt on the Lawnmower would break or come loose, Christee could always fix it. Christee's favorite foods were gumbo and crawfish.

Sha'Christa was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather Mitchell Percy Garrick, great-grandparents, aunts, uncles, and qodmother, Joyce geadern.

Cherishing her memories are her parents, Harold and Linda Garrick Jones; brother Harold J. Jones, Jr.; sister Monique L. Jones, all of Lake Charles, Louisiana; maternal grandmother, Sylvia Goodwin; paternal grandparents Albert (Mary Lou) Jones, and Laura Mayo Jones; aunts Brenda Garrick and Janice Jones Perkins; uncle Michael (Florence) Jones, all of Lake Charles, Louisiana; special nephew, Jayden Joseph Jones and niece, A'myiriel Lastrapes of Lake Charles, Louisiana; godfather, Carlton Newsome Hollywood, California.
