Shawn Mark Babineaux , 51, departed this life on Friday, March 19, 2021, at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital in Lake Charles, LA.  He was born March 19, 1970, to Joseph Hubert Babineaux, Sr., and Janet Cecilia Bartie Babineaux in Houston, TX.  He worked at National Networks of Lake Charles, LA.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Dana Lynn Babineaux of Sulphur, LA; his mother, Janet Cecilia Babineaux of Lake Charles, LA; four children, Deven Babineaux, Nicole Babineaux, Amber Babineaux and Mallory Deason; three brothers, Joseph H. Babineaux (Karen) of San Marcos, TX, John K. Babineaux (Reemah) of Palmdale, CA and Pernell Babineaux (Loria) of Lake Charles, LA; one grandchild, Cason Babineaux and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Hubert Babineaux, Sr; one son, Dylan Babineaux; paternal grandparents and maternal grandparents.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 26, 2021, at 11:00 a.m., Rosary at 12:00 p.m., at King's Funeral Home and funeral service at 1:00 p.m., at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church.  Burial will follow in Perkins Cemetery under the direction of King's Funeral Home.
