Shirley Burd was born on November 7, 1941 to Clifton Burd and Mary Shaw Burd in Lake Charles, LA. Shirley leaves to cherish her loving memories her sons; Charles (Arlene) Miller of Whitsett, NC, and Shannon (Rochelle) Burd of Lake Charles, LA; six grandchildren; Charlene Miller, Darrian Burd, Tyra Burd, Justin Burd, Katelyn Burd, and Kamryn Burd; four brother; Clifton (Evelyn) Burd Jr, Carl Burd, Lester Burd, Gerald Burd, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; Clifton and Mary Burd, and her brother Glen Burd.
