Stafford D. "Big Bear" Breaux, Jr. , a native of New Orleans and a resident of Lake Charles, La., a well-known poet, entered into eternal rest on Friday, September 18, 2015, at the age of 62.

Beloved son of the late Zellease H. Brown and Wesley W. Brown, Sr.; father of Nia Kenya Banks, grandfather of Kira Alisia Banks and also survived by three sisters, Cassandra B. Robbins (Samuel, Sr.), Zerlyn Jones (Roderick Baker), Weslyn B. Lewis (Anthony Smith); one brother, Arnold Wayne Brown, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Stafford was preceded in death by his parents, Zellease H. Brown and Wesley W. Brown, Sr.

Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2015, at Riverside Baptist Church, 2404 Fitzenreiter Road, Lake Charles, LA, at 11:00 a.m., Pastor Lee Wilson officiating.
