Stephanie Wonette Ellis , 47, departed this life on Monday, August 22, 2022, at her residence in Lake Charles, LA.  She was born July 24, 1975, to Henry Siverand and Ruth Rhines Siverand in Lake Charles, LA.  She worked in Healthcare and was a member of Messiah Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Robert L. Owens.  She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and Southwest Sickle Cell Foundation.  She loved cooking, eating out and spending quality time with her family.

She leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Troy Ellis of Lake Charles, LA; her parents, Henry and Ruth Siverand; one son, Troy (Sarah) Ellis; one daughter, Lauren Ellis all of Lake Charles, LA; one sister, Denise West of San Antonio, TX; three grandchildren, Malik Stokes, KJ Stokes, and Rylie Ellis all of Lake Charles, LA and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents; two sisters, Martha Birotte and Michelle Siverand; father-in-law, Lawrence Duhon and mother-in-law, Mary Ellis.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 2, 2022, at 9:00 a.m., and funeral service at 11:00 a.m., at New Providence Baptist Church.  Burial will follow in Combre Memorial Park under the direction of King's Funeral Home.
