IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Tamika Theresa
Belton
September 9, 1986 – November 30, 2025
Tamika Theresa Belton, age 39, of Lake Charles, entered into eternal rest on November 30, 2025, surrounded by the love of family. She was a devoted daughter, sister, niece, cousin, & friend. A believer whose life reflected love, strength, and faith.
Born on September 9, 1986, to her mother, Vanessa Belton and father, the late Charles Robinson. She grew up with a deep commitment to family and a heart for helping others. Throughout her life, she touched countless lives with her kindness, generosity, and unwavering faith in God.
Tamika faced medical challenges early in life. At the age of 16, she received a kidney transplant—an experience that shaped her strength and resilience. From that moment forward, she lived her life with bravery, determination, and a fighting spirit that inspired everyone who knew her. She was a true warrior until the very end.
Tamika brought light everywhere she went. She had a unique love for giving balloons—simple gifts that carried big joy. Whether for birthdays, celebrations, or "just because," she loved making others smile. She also enjoyed connecting with people on social media, sharing moments, laughter, and love with her online family.
Above all, Tamika loved her family deeply. She cherished time spent with them and held each person close to her heart. She was especially excited and anxiously awaiting the arrival of her very first nephew, Aiden Belton, whom she already loved beyond words.
Tamika is preceded in death by her father, Charles Robinson, maternal grandparents, Mary Jane and Paul Belton, paternal grandparents, Earl and Mildred Robinson, and her uncle Samuel Belton.
She leaves to celebrate her life and cherish her memory, her mother, Vanessa Belton of Lake Charles; her brother, Paul Belton (Alexia Frank); her companion Jerrick Guidry; uncles, Robert Belton, Harold Belton, Russell Belton, Harold Robinson; aunts Joann Francis, Rema Belton, Charlotte Guillory, Lela Belton, and Cynthia Belton; and very special cousins, Jade Martin, Joshua Martin, Jazlyn Belton, Marcus Belton, Russell Belton Jr., and Heather Botley. Joyce Jackson was a second mother to her and Lakeisha Jackson and Vikki Thomas, two close friends. She also leaves a host of extended family and friends.
Though she will be deeply missed, we rejoice knowing that she is resting safely in the arms of the Lord. Her legacy of love, faith, and strength will live on in all who knew her.
Tamika's celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025, with Visitation beginning at 9am, followed by Funeral Services at 11am, both at King's Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment will be at Sacred Heart Mausoleum under the direction of King's Funeral Home.
