Teresita B. Strauss passed away on Sunday, October 19, 2014 in MD Anderson Hospital in Houston, Texas at the age of 64. She was well known for her work at Big Lots Department Store. She was born on March 4, 1950 to late Daniel Sherman Beverly and Viola V. Beverly in Rayne, La. She leaves to cherish her memory her mother: Viola Beverly, her husband of 43 years Stanley Strauss Jr.; two son; Stanley Strauss III and his fiancé April and Seumas Strauss and his fiancé NeQueeta; 1 daughter; Claudia Lynnette Strauss (Joseph) Guillory all of Lake Charles, LA. 3 sisters; Reva Ann (Harold)Young of Apple Valley, CA; Sonja Beverly of Lafayette, La; Rita Gail (James) Simpson of Houston, TX; 4 brothers; Daniel Timothy Beverly of Oakland, CA; Robert (Candace) Beverly of Houston, TX; Nathaniel (Mirna) Beverly of Houston, TX; and Hayward (Kenyia)Beverly of Dallas, TX. 7 grandchildren, 4 extended grandchildren, 2 god children, a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other family members. She was preceded in death by her father; Daniel Beverly, mother in law; Valentine G. Strauss, sister in laws; Lina and Belinda Strauss and one sister; Claudia M. Beverly.
