Thomas Leonard Brown , 70, departed this life on Thursday, July 23, 2020, at a Resthaven Nursing Facility in Lake Charles, LA. He was born February 17, 1950, to Thomae E. Brown and Henrietta Chavis Brown in Rayne, LA. He worked at Isle of Capri Casino until his retirement.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Valerie Jones Brown; his son, Thomas L. Brown, Jr., Toya Brown Berry (Joseph); stepchildren, Jeffery Tolbert (Mykesha) and Valshonda Simpson (Dannie); his siblings, Alice Davis (Jay) Robert Brown (Wanda) and Cynthia Kaufman (Barry); grandchildren, Victoria, Duante, Storm, Rain, Tylai, Thomas, III, and LaRonda; step grandchildren, Christian, Taylor, Jayden, Dannie, III and Jorden and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Thomas and Henrietta Brown and one brother, Terry Minix.
