Thressa Lee DeLoach, 87, departed this life on June 19, 2016, at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital in Lake Charles, LA.  She was born January 26, 1929, to the late Odis and Luddie Davis in Winnfield, LA.

She was a long time resident of DeQuincy, LA., and was married to the late Fred D. Deloach.  To this union, four children were born.  She was a homemaker and attended Evergreen Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. James B. Harris where she served as President of the Deaconess Board, Church Recording Secretary and worked for many years on the Kitchen Committee.

She leaves to cherish her memories, four children, Diana DeLoach of DeQuincy, LA, Fred O. DeLoach (Diane) of Harvey LA, Alfred N. Deloach (Carolyn) of DeQuincy, LA, and Alice M. DeLoach of DeQuincy, LA; 21 grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Odis and Luddie Davis; her husband, Fred D. Deloach; one brother, Ernest Davis; four sisters-in-law and two grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2016, at 10:00 a.m., and funeral service at 2:00 p.m., at Evergreen Missionary Baptist Church, in DeQuincy, LA,  Rev. James B. Harris, officiating.  Burial will be in Community Cemetery under the direction of King's Funeral Home.
