Trena Lisa Bowman , 52, departed this life on Tuesday August 30, 2011, at 6:30 p.m. in a local hospital. Trena Lisa Bowman was born July 21, 1959, to the late Joseph and Julia Lee Bowman in Lake Charles, Louisiana. She was the seventh child out of 11 children. Trena was a lifelong resident of Lake Charles, Louisiana. She loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. She also enjoyed watching reality TV. Trena loved the Lord and she attended St. Henry Catholic Church. Trena will be truly missed by all those who knew and loved her

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Julia Lee Bowman, and one brother, Gary Glenn Gregory Bowman

She leaves to cherish her memories one daughter, Charlene Marie Bowman and fiance (Devin) of Lake Charles, Louisiana; four brothers, Michael Joseph Bowman, Grain Lane Bowman, Ron Trent Bowman, all of Lake Charles, Louisiana and Andre Pernell Bowman of Tulsa, Oklahoma; five sisters, Brenda Joyce Johnson of Leesville. Louisiana, Troy Romell LeDav (Lee) of Laccasine, Louisiana. Gwainette Joy Bowman, Sheril Lynn Bowman, and Charmaine Renee Charles (Jason) all of Lake Charles, Louisiana; one aunt, Mrs. Willie Mae Lute of Lake Cherries.; three grandchildren, Sierra Buckley, Alyssa Evans and Madison Laifook; a special niece, Marissa Bowman and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 3, 2011, at 11:00 a.m., a Rosary at 11:30 a.m., at King's Funeral Home and funeral service at 1:00 p.m., at St. Henry Catholic Church, Monsignor Danny Torres, officiating.  Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery under the direction of King's Funeral Home.
