Twila Keytha McCain-Richard, 58, departed this life on Wednesday, December 7, 2016, at 10:08 a.m., in a local hospital. Twila Keytha McCain-Richard was born on May 8, 1958, to the late Joseph and Willie Mae Richardson Lute. She was a member of Livingway Pentecostal Church in Lake Charles, LA, and a retired employee of Raytheon in Austin, Texas.
She was a graduate of Washington High School, Class of 1977. She joined in holy matrimony to her loving husband of 31 years, Daniel Richard, on May 1, 1985, in Austin Texas. In 1990, she presented her life to Christ and was baptized in the holy spirit at World Outreach Church in Austin, Texas. In 1993, she became an ordained minister. Twila loved going to church, fellowshipping, and talking about the Lord. She also loved spending time with her children and extended family. She was a loving grandmother over her cherished grandchildren. She touched many hearts and lives; opening the doors of her home to many teens who also loved her as a mother. She enjoyed singing, crafting, watching movies, and reading her bible in her spare time.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Willie Mae Lute; one brother, Erwin James Quinn Richardson; one grandson, Masyn Josiah Perez, and one granddaughter, Ayva Nichelle Celestine.
She leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Daniel Richard of Lake Charles, LA; one brother, Lorin Joseph Lute of Pineville, LA; two daughters, Danricka Perez (Christopher) and Faith Richard; two sons, Artis Lute, and Erwin James Quinn McCain (Katherine); seven grandchildren, Tyler Joseph Perez, Hailey Nicole Perez, Bradyn Jeriah Perez, Mariyah Nicolette LaFleur, Elicyah Trinity McCain, Brylie Fields, Shaelyn Marie Lute all of Lake Charles, Louisiana and a host of nieces, nephews, other cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2016, at 9:00 a.m. and funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at King's Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Perkins Cemetery under the direction of King's Funeral Home.
