Valerie Kristen Agathos-Leary was born August 18, 1962, at Stamford hospital in Stamford Ct.  She is first born to Roseann Reynolds and Christos Agathos. Valerie lost her 32-year battle with Multiple Sclerosis on March 20, 2024.

Valerie had an intense drive to continue to live her best life through continuing education, keeping positive and always finding the humor in things. Her infectious laugh, her continued ability to be empathic to others even with the immense struggle she felt daily. Valerie enjoyed socializing with friends over drinks (long Island Iced Tea, did someone say Tequila), good food (not Sushi), reading, baking, music and had a forever quest to learn new things.  In fact, recently she mentioned signing up for online classes for criminal justice.  Val, was involved with the MS Society and was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew her.

Valerie married Sean Leary who later divorced & now deceased and was blessed by their daughter Danielle Marie Leary.  Danielle gave Valerie & Sean 2 beautiful grandchildren, Christian Michael Leary & Michaela Jade Bonnette.

Through the years Valerie spent most of her life with family and friends in Conn, Florida & LA.  She is survived by her sister, Tania Agathos (Brent Schepp), half-brothers, Christos Agathos (Abby Agathos), Erotos Agathos (Amanda Agathos) and her half sister, Lisa Agathos.  Diane Kay (God mother & Aunt). Fan and Anthony Coviello (Aunt and Uncle), Brian and Nancy Ruther (Aunt and Uncle), Ed Ruther (Uncle).  Valerie, we miss you every moment of every day.
