Valerie Faye Rougeau , 54, departed this life on Sunday, September 21, 2014.

Valerie was born on May 17, 1960, to Florella Guillory and the late John Rougeau in Lafayette, Louisiana. She was a resident of Welsh, Louisiana. She was a member of Waking by 'Faith Inter¬national World Outreach Ministries in `Welsh, Louisiana. She start¬ed an early career as a model in California, but later moved back to Louisiana and began working at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital.

She was preceded in death by her father, John Rougeau; ma-ternal' grandparents, Apray Guillory and Lawrence Guillory; paternal grandparents, Elizabeth Guidry Rougeau and William Rougeau; two brothers, Stanley and (Darrell 'Rougeau; and sister-in-law, Kathleen Guiffory Rougeau.

She is survived by her mother, Florella Guillory of Welsh, Louisiana; her step-father, Walter Guillory of Lake Charles, Louisi-ana; two sisters, Amanda Rougeau (Rodney) Pickens of Lake Charles, Louisiana, and Sandy Young of Biloxi Mississippi; three brothers, Al (Tasha) Rougeau and Tony Rougeau of Lake, Charles, Louisiana, and Michaef (Natasha) Guiffory of Welsh, Louisiana; eleven nieces, eighteen nephews, eight great-nieces, seven great-nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, September 26, 2014, at 11:00 a.m., at King's Funeral Home, Rev. Ronald Guillory, officiating.  Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery under the direction of King's Funeral Home.
