Vergina Louise Artis-Johnson , 38, departed this life on Monday, October 4, 2021, at Christus St. Patrick Hospital in Lake Charles, LA.  She was born September 4, 1983, to Xavier Artis and Diana Marie Artis-Ettinne.  She worked at All About You Home Care in Lake Charles as a security guard for many years.  She loved reading, visiting with family, dressing up and going out with her friends.

She leaves to cherish her memories her mother, Diana Artis-Ettinne (Marvin) of Lake Charles, LA; her children, Angelina Walker, Flori Johnson, Christopher Johnson, Jr., and Christian Johnson all of Lake Charles, LA; her siblings, Xavier Artis (Shawn), Amanda Artis Allen (Markus), John Michael Artis, Maurice O'Brien all of Lake Charles, LA,  Kimberly Armelin (Ryan), of Beaumont, TX and Bryant Artis (Brianna) of Baltimore, MD and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Xavier Artis and grandmother, Lena Robinson-Lewis.

A Private Memorial Service will be held on Monday, October 11, 2021, at 10:00 a.m., at King's Funeral Home.
