Veronica JoAnn Harrison Thomas , 61, departed this life on Thursday, December 24, 2020, at her residence in Lake Charles, LA.  She was born October 15, 1959, to Billy Harrison and Beulah Breaux Harrison in Lake Charles, LA.  She worked at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital and was a member of Glory to Glory Holiness Church.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her children, Jessica (John) Chavis, Gregory (Sasha) Harrison and Keisha Harrison; two sisters, Gail Gibbs and Patricia (Cherry) Harrison; one brother, Victor (Curly) Harrison; grandchildren, Keondra Porter, Jamyric Harrison, Jasmine Walker, Lanndin Green, Brianna King, Deiondre Thomas, Jada Thomas, John Chavis, III, and Ladarion Green and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Billy and Beulah Harrison; husband, Willie Thomas; sisters, Rita Butler, Linda Lovick, Gertrude Harrison and Mildred Polk; two brothers, Larry Harrison and Steve Harrison.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2020, at 9:00 a.m., and funeral service at 11:00 a.m., at King's Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Combre Memorial Park under the direction of King's Funeral Home.
